Mongoose Bikes

Mongoose BMX

Since its beginning, The Mongoose BMX line has catered to the BMX world in a special way. From its first product ever, the Motomag One wheel, to its present day line-up of competition winning bikes, BMX blood runs through Mongoose’s veins. That pedigree shines through in everything that the company has created & presented to BMX riders from across the globe.

Freestyle:
Usually the most popular format for riders and viewers, freestyle bikes require tremendous agility and character. The company’s freestyle range combines a lightweight Chromoly frame with superlative strength to create a wonderful final product.

Whether you pick the $250 Subject, with its Hi-Ten frame & fork, or the $350, top-of-the-line, Article, with its Hi-Ten frame and Chromoly fork, you are guaranteed to end up with a solid bike that sweeps all before it. Built for, and tested extensively on, park conditions, these freestyle Mongoose BMX bikes are absolutely to die for.

Dirt/Street:
This is where the big boys come to play – on treacherous dirt tracks or unforgiving asphalt streets! Mongoose has something on offer for everyone – from those who are starting off to those who’re competing for the title at the world stage. The Logo is the perfect starter bike, with its forged steel one-piece crank and Hi-Ten fork & frame. The bike, albeit for beginners, is capable of turning quite a few heads.

For more serious riders, the $550 Thrive is a 24” model that offers everything that Mongoose has to offer. World class performance, unbeatable design; unquestionable strength, and a brilliant overall package – just a few of the things you yearn for. Add to that a Chromoly frame & a tapered full Chromoly fork and there’s no reason to look elsewhere.

Team & Specialty:
Both Specialty models, on offer, are priced at $750 and, the fact is, you just can’t get more for your money anywhere else. The 26” Kos Kruiser was, originally, specially designed for Jeff “KOS” Kosmala, during those wonder days in the 80’s. The modern re-make’s triple-butted frame and 48-spline Chromoly crank are a throwback to those glory days, as well as a massive indicator of how good this bike really is.

Fraction, the second bike, is a symbol of Mongoose’s dedication to the genre. The bike has been tested, re-tested and, then, tested some more to attain the perfect balance between performance, agility, durability and design! It is, arguably, one of the best Specialty bikes on offer around the world, ever.

Juvenile:
The only thing “juvenile” about these $200 marvels is their name! The Blade & Micro series come with Hi-Ten frames & forks, each supplied with a forged steel crank and an impressive 36 x 18 drive train. These bikes are ideal to get kids started off at an extremely early age. They are quick and versatile without compromising on control & safety for your child. What more do you need?

BMX bikers tend to live on the wild side and if you’re one of them, you’d want as many things on your side as possible. With the fantastic range of Mongoose BMX bikes, you can hardly make a wrong choice!
